2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

Health Ministries
St. Catharines Seventh Day Adventist Church
Mission Statement:
To create an awareness of the role health plays in
The Christian experience.
The Bible teaches a holistic view of man, including the physical, mental, social, and spiritual dimensions of life. Matthew 22:37 quotes Christ as saying “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and with all your might.
Talking of the development of Jesus, Luke 2:52, records that “Jesus grew in height and in wisdom, and that he was loved by God and by all who knew Him.”
“The savior ministered to both the soul and the body. The gospel which He taught was a message of spiritual life and of physical restoration.” White EG, Ministry of Healing, p.111.
Jesus modeled the biblical basis for health ministry. He healed people and taught wholeness of the physical, mental, social, and spiritual aspects of life to those who were ready to learn. Health improvement begins with awareness.
